DJ LODY zijn roots liggen in disco en dance classics. De disco stijl dansmuziek uit de tweede helft van de jaren zeventig en alle dansmuziek die verder in de jaren tachtig en negentig zijn uitgeven. Doordat DJ LODY zelf de disco periode heeft meegemaakt is gedurende die tijd ook zijn muziek collectie ontstaan. Op zowel cd als vinyl heeft hij een grote verzameling van danshits.
